Friday Favorites

Its my favorite day of the week! Friday....isn't Friday so much more satisfying than any other day? You have the expectation of the weekend, you have Friday night coming up and usually (well highlight on usually) work is a little bit lighter on Friday as everyone catches up from the week.

1. My blue nail polish.
After drooling over Ms. Nene Leakes' polish on last Sunday's Real Housewives of Atlanta's episode, I decided to get myself some. By the way, did you see that episode, explosive!

I have felt a little bit like I'm 10 again wearing this color, but I think it works.

2.Amy Atlas in general, but specifically a post she had this week for a Japanese-themed lunch from The Sweet Parlour. You should head over there and check it out. My favorites were the cupcakes. I attempted once upon a time to make cherry blossom cupcakes but they did not turn out like those cupcakes on her post.

3. TJ Fredette
How many of you are currently infatuated with Jimmer Fredette? He seems to be quite the sensation right now isn't he? While he is fabulous, did you know that he has a brother who is a rap artist?

4. Stolen by Lucy Christopher

I first saw this book reviewed on Gnome Sweet Gnome. Every time I hear about a good book I have been getting on the list at my library for e-books since they seem to be in high demand lately. This book is wonderful. I read it in a total of 3 and a half hours. The writing was beautiful. Its a letter from a girl who was kidnapped to the man who kidnaps her.

5. Zebra Zazzle Highlighters
I am a sucker for office supplies. I still remember the Christmas I asked Santa for brightly colored pens and sticky notes. This past week I was looking through an old bag of supplies, I have to hide my stuff from Brandon or else he'll throw them away like the great pen purge of 2008. In said bag of supplies, I found my old zebra zazzle highlighters. It was definitely a highlight of my week to find them. I have been making up excuses to use them all week. All of my notes have been highlighted with a lovely blue and pink or purple depending on my mood.

Have a great weekend! I will talk to you all next week.

SO glad you liked STOLEN! I'm always cautious about recommending books but that one was just TOO GOOD not to tell people about.
