Palee's Crown

The last week I was very good and ate according to my diet, er...I mean "lifestyle change" and decided that Saturday I was going to let my hair down and have a free day. I have been craving some good thai food and until Saturday, Phoenix was keeping all of her good Thai restaurants secret. Its not like Brando and I weren't trying to find a good one, but we have learned that you cannot trust Yelp and they don't have a City Weekly here. (Unfortunately)

We have learned that you can judge a good Thai place by whether they actually have sticky rice on the menu. I hate to mention specific restaurants, but there is nothing worse than sitting down at a restaurant, asking for sticky rice, you see the server pause, he waits a few minutes, says yes and then brings back jasmine rice. Do they take me for a fool??? Apparently, yes.

But, I am happy to report that the time has come that we have found good, quality Thai food.

Palee's Crown was delicious and yes, they DO have sticky rice and they even have sweet sticky rice (coconut milk with sugar). It was divine. It was a divine way to break my lifestyle change.
