My Weekly Food Chart

This past week I grew frustrated with my phone's calorie counting app. I found that it was way too easy to not put in what I had eaten and then out of sight and out of mind, I would start eating little chocolate chips or anything else that was in front of me.

To solve this problem I put on my creative hat (sort of) and created my very own week food and exercise chart that I would hang right next to my computer and force myself to fill it out.

Here is the fancy dancy chart, feel free to hack and download too if you would like.

Weekly Food and Exercise Chart

After printing out my new chart, I then broke out the ol' Xyron 850. Do you remember those things?

They were in vogue before the Cricut, and I used mine almost to its death, creating stickers and laminating things. Luckily, I still have full cartridges of both the laminate and the sticker paper and I created myself a little wall chart.

So far, things are going swimmingly. It has been much more satisfying to fill out this chart instead of punching it into my app and I like seeing the calories that I've burned exercising.

What do you do to track your exercise? I'm interesting in hearing what else works well!

Love the chart! I mostly just have a partner to go to the gym with and make it a habit. I just go at the same time, everyday. That helps keep me on track.
