Swimming After Work

Until the time changes for Daylight Savings Time, Arizona is behind Utah an hour. So, I start my work day an hour earlier than the clock thinks I should and 5:00 or 5:30 in Utah is really 4:00 or 4:30 here. That means, that I then have time to go swimming after work. This. Is. Lovely. There is nothing better than sitting stationary for hours at a time and then going swimming.

Today, I decided to take a few pics on my way to the pool.

This is a view of the street, our house is on the left side of the street, the right side is the pool and tennis courts.

This is the good ol' pool, of which I am apparently the only resident in the whole neighborhood who uses it. Seriously. Its even better than having a pool in my own backyard, no one but myself uses it AND I don't have to clean or maintain it.

This is the something very interesting that I have found all over here. There are very bright flowers that seem to bloom year-round without any water. I can't figure out what type they are, but they line the freeways and parks and businesses. This pink variety is my favorite, but there is an orange version that might just be my favorite here in a couple of days.

I'm so jealous. It's SO COLD already here. I'm shaking my fist at the sky and yelling "Where was fall?!?" It's already freezing!

How nice that you have the pool all to yourself! Post some pictures of your rental also!
