Odds and Ends

This weekend I visited my husband in Arizona. It was a very odd feeling to get on an airplane to go see my hubby..but soon enough it will be done. This Friday he flies back and then on Saturday we leave to go Cabo and then when we get back we move me and all of our stuff down to Arizona.

On another tangent, I went tanning tonight for the first time since I got married. It was super weird. I only went because I really haven't been in the sun this summer and I really don't want to spend my whole vacation in pain from a sunburn. Tanning Oasis has not changed one bit in 10 years....it was seriously a blast from the past. I felt like I had stepped right back into 2000.

I used to be a super user of tanning, I loved how it felt, plus tanning is always a plus when cheerleading tryouts come around...just a hit people, the judges notice you when you're tan, just sayin'.

Tonight, I felt claustrophobic in that bed. Then, I kept worrying about my eyes, since I got PRK (sort of like lasik except they didn't cut into my eye) I am hyper sensitive about those things....wouldn't you? I wake up every morning praising the blessed morn that I could get up and not fight with contacts AND I could see the alarm clock..believe it, its a wonderful feeling. I also kept worrying the whole time about melanoma. Apparently I am now an old worrywart. Oh well, I shall forge through so that I use all 5 of the tanning passes I purchased so that I can hopefully have bronzed skin in time to jump on the plane...here's to hoping!

Good old tanning oasis! I am paranoid about skin cancer, also. I went to the dermatologist and had precancerous skin on my nose!

Are you serious? That is so scary!!!! What did they say to do? I seriously have this fear that one day I will wake up and the mole under my chin will have tripled in the night and it will be because of cancer.
