Friend BBQ

Last night a few of our friends from high school got together and had a dinner with our husbands and/or children. Brandon had some ward stuff that he had to do, so I went by myself. It was a lot of fun, especially since I've only been able to see Kirsten a handful of times since she moved to China. Also, as always, I had the best time catching up with Alaina.

It really is a lot of fun to see our friends being grown ups and having these kids that look at you like you're an alien or something. Miss Barbi almost has a 9 year old, that is super crazy. I swear I remember being 9 very vividly.

Syrissa and her husband moved to Las Vegas last year and she is getting ready to run the St. George marathon. She inspired me to run last night, it about killed me.

It was a lot of fun too see everyone again so soon after the reunion. We used to try and get together every month and then that turned into every quarter and then even that stopped. Life just gets busy, so that made this extra fun without the hassle of planning an actual party, girls we should do it again!
