Strawberry Munchkin

I am hoping that soon this will be an honest-to-goodness real life strawberry grown in my very own pot.

Photobucket

I am almost as excited about this as I think I will be to have my own child. Just don't let my children know I ever wrote this in the future. I can see the conversation now, "oh course honey, I was wwwaaayyyy more excited to be preggo with you than to see the bud of strawberry in the backyard....."

That's a beautiful looking berry - I'm sure it will be delicious! Glad you found our blog - I planted some "new" daylilies last year that are scrawny and unimpressive. Don't worry. The giant things overgrowing the yard and looking a little freakish are "old" daylilies from Steve's dad's yard. If yours aren't bigger by fall, come over and we'll split some off for you! Last year not ONE of mine flowered. . . don't worry. This year Mikey's already eaten some of our strawberries!
