The first thing I noticed when I drove up was the big sign proclaiming that chicks are there and for sale. Chicks???? I shouldn't have gone it, they were so cute I almost came home with one.

Aren't these little guys just darling? I could tell by the way they were sticking their little heads out that they wanted nothing more than coming home to live with myself and Brandon. Plus, Salt Lake County just passed that law saying that you can have chickens, no roosters, but you can raise them. I would have fresh eggs all of the time!!! But then I remembered that I would somehow have to build them a coop and every last inch of space in my yard has been used for plants. I will just have to wait until my next house I guess....

They are really cute, and then they turn into these annoying roosters that crow at all hours of the day and night. Believe me!!!
AH! I want chickens so MUCH! I almost, almost convinced my husband this year but, alas, last minute we decided not too (I think he secretly agrees to my various ideas hoping they are passing fancies & then is like "NO WAY!" when I try to follow through).
It's true though you want the girl chickies that don't crow. Chickens are loud as it is.
