Cupcakes

I had a vision on Friday that I would make absolutely beautiful cupcakes. That didn't happen, but I had a really good time making the design that I went with. I think that I like cupcakes better than cakes. There's a lot less surface space to work with AND you don't have to worry about crumbs. Those dang crumbs will be the death of me.



I was supposed to color the fondant pink so that they looked like cherry blossoms, but I was lazy and went with straight white. While I am a frosting girl, I realized that actually eating these required scraping half of the frosting off, otherwise I was gagging on large amounts of buttercream.
