Hair Decisions

Almost a year and a half ago I cut my hair seriously short. Like, we're talking less than an inch long in parts of it. It was very short and funky for a while and I liked it. Well, I liked it a lot when it had grown out just a little bit, but was still short enough to be funky. For the past year I have been growing my hair out. I have these dreams that one day I will have long hair again and I'll have it just long enough to get sick of blow drying it and flat ironing it and all of that good stuff. At that point I will chop my hair again into a funky style...but.....my hair is in a hard stage right now. It has grown out of any style and its gotten really thick and I just stick it in a ponytail these days telling myself that I need to just wait it out until my hair gets a little bit longer.

I had been keeping with my strategy until I saw some super cute short hairstyles on Pinterest. I am sorely tempted:

I really, really like this haircut, but it is super close to how my hair has been for the past 3 years.

I really like this hairstyle too! I think its just enough of funky, but still kind of longish...I just have already done variations of both of these hairstyles before, I'm torn.

Then....I found some pictures of long hair and I'm even MORE torn. What to do????
