Something I Should Have Figured Out Long Ago

I think the I-Pod shuffle is fabulous, its perfect for the gym, doing the dishes or lounging by the pool. My only beef with it has been that I can either shuffle the music randomly, or I can listen to the songs one by one. Both ways can be very frustrating when you're on a run and you want to listen to that one song that you can run faster to, do you know the one I'm talking about???

Well, I had a no-duh moment this weekend. You can create playlists on your shuffle! I think my life has changed permanently.

I currently have the 3rd generation shuffle, its not my favorite, in fact I bought it out of desperation because I had accidentally washed my old one and needed a new one. 3 weeks later the 4th generation shuffles came out...but I digress.

I came across an article on how to create and play my playlists no my shuffle, its a complete breeze and you can find it here.  Apple

I created a playlist on my shuffle, made sure to name it and I was ready to go. I think you might need to have voice-over capability on your shuffle to make this magic happen, but I believe if you have purchased a shuffle within the past few years, then you're ready to go.

Well, I'm off to create a few more playlists to use based on what exercise I'm going to do...hopefully now exercising won't be quite as painful, I'll have the right tunes to go with it.

I'm the same way when I listening to my shuffle, always wanting to land on that one song. I love the voice over capability on mine!
