Feedly...Try It

I used to use my blog roll to see when my friends and family had updated their blogs...then I realized that was time consuming and I am ALL about expediting things. I then found Google Reader. I will be the first to admit that I am a google cheerleader in all things. But...as of late my poor Google Reader has become cluttered. I have over 300 subscriptions of all of the latest blogs and news websites updating me and it can be daunting at time to open my reader and realize I have over 500 updates.....until today.

Thanks to @JuliaRoy on the twittersphere I heard about feedly.com It. Is. Life. Changing. AND..and this is a big and....it is pretty to look at. All I had to do was sign up and it imported everything from my Google Reader and is a two-way update. Then, I started personalizing that bad boy and now it looks like I'm reading a magazine, depending on which of my categories I'm looking at. Now, I have all of my fav blogs and websites in special categories so I can choose to ignore those that haven't been quite as entertaining as of late.

Oh, and another perk, its super easy to comment on your fav blogs too...a win-win solution!
