Sisters

I don't have any sisters in my immediate family, but I was lucky to have a cousin that was more like a sister to me. We are the same exact age and grew up down the street from each other. I asked my dad to send me some pictures from childhood because I'm making myself a book with our old pictures (go blurb!!) and I spent the other afternoon laughing and enjoying the memories.

A couple of my favorite pictures of Breanne and I when we were little were these:

Here we are sleeping in our old green tent. I used to love to go camping in this thing, we had some adventures with it. I think this picture was taken at Bear Lake, back in the day you could just pull off the side of the road and camp by the lake. Our spot of choice was the North shore. But, as time went on and the lake seemed to shrink, this option was less desirable. Before the whole fam decided to invest in trailers, we started roughing it up St. Charles' canyon.

The picture below shows us at Lagoon. I can't remember who exactly worked there, but someone in the family did and at that time Lagoon let family members in for a good deal, so I think we spent a couple of summers there. Notice how upset Breanne is to be in the boat with me.

She's not any happier about being in Dumbo the Elephant,

I think I'm trying to give her a hug in Dumbo so that she'll enjoy it a little bit better. :) The odd thing? I SWEAR I can remember some of the memories there, maybe not from that very day, but does anyone remember the giant shoe at Lagoon that you could crawl in?

It has been fun going down memory lane the past few days, but I have to ask myself where on Earth did the time go?

Oh.. I LOVE the oics. Can you send them to me again. I don't really have any pictures from when we were little, they are all hidden somewhere at my moms house. I believe it was Grandma Hatch who worked for Lagoon. I also have a vague memory of the big shoe lol. It looks like I was having a hard time that day at Lagoon. haha
