Last Year's Christmas Gift

Today I received some packages in the mail. I really, really love getting stuff in the mail, unless its a bill of course.



The top box is more candles, I am going through them like last week's underwear! (ha! Ok, I thought that was a funny joke.) BUT.....the bottom box is a little package from Blurb. Last Christmas my cousin, Breanne, gave me a gift card to Blurb and showed me the book she made. She had taken her blog and reformatted it into a book. It was an ingenious idea. I don't have any chillen's yet (translation: children) so I decided to instead take pictures from throughout the year and then create a book for myself. I have waited and waited all year to do this, so it was uber-exciting to finally get it in my hands!



At the time I clicked on the soft cover option, but I thought I was getting the hard cover with the dust jacket. Looking back, I'm glad that I did the soft cover for a book this size, I only did 20 pages, but I am working on a new book of pictures from growing up and I think I'll do that one bigger.



Of course, Miss Sadie has her own page dedicated to her! I couldn't leave out that crime-fighting feline!
