4 Years Already?

Four years ago today, these two crazy kids got married in the Logan temple.

We had a luau for our reception the night before and then we went back to our apartment to open presents...that's right, we didn't keep to the tradition of opening presents with our families. We stayed up until probably 4 in the morning doing that...well, I take that back, maybe 2, but it was late. Then, I went back to my house for a couple of hours and sleep and Brandon stayed at our apartment.

Our ceremony was at 9:00 am, so Brandon showed up at my parent's house at 6:00 am to pick me up. We got on the road and Brandon realized he had left his ring at the apartment. We had to go back to Clearfield to pick it up, then we decided to stop at JP's for some taquitos and then headed up to Logan. Those taquitos have not been topped yet, they were delicious.

We arrived after most of our guests, so it was nice. I went in with my mom and mother-in-law and got ready and then went right in. There was no waiting around since everyone was already there before me.

I got super sick after pictures because it was a 100+ day and I was too excited after the ceremony to even stop and get a drink. I got really nauseated and light headed. My sweet little dad drove down to the Chevron and bought me 10 waters and I drank ALL of them. It was only then that I started feeling better.

Our luncheon was at a super cool, super old church in Ogden. I remember it being really hot in there, even though the ward had promised me they would keep the air conditioning on all night so that it would feel good that day.

After the luncheon we didn't have a reception to prepare for, so that night we went to Happy Sumo. We have tried every year since that we've been in town to go to Happy Sumo to celebrate. Then, the next morning we left at 4:45 am for Cancun.

I honestly cannot believe its been 4 years already! Its gone by super quick, but at the same time I don't remember really what life was like before Brandon, which I think is the way it should be. Brandon doesn't read this blog, so I'll keep  the sappy stuff in a card for him. But, I decided that I would attach our engagement photo...look at that long hair! Sheesh, that mane used to take an hour to blow dry and flat iron....not worth it, not worth it at all!
