Trocadéro Square

I have been going through my old pictures today trying to find some seriously old pics of Breanne and I from a trip to Moab in high school. If I find the pics I promise I will post them...they are golden. But, meanwhile, I found a little gem I thought I should share.

This is a video from Trocadero Square in Paris, France. I took this video about 3 years ago on one of our last days in Europe. We were seriously tired from two weeks of backpacking from Rome to Bruges. We found this square because it is just up from the Eiffel Tower. There's a lot of Bohemian people hanging out, playing drums and dancing. It was very, very interesting to watch. But, then we found the best part of it all. There was a group of daredevils performing for crowds, we watched a kid jump 3 garbage cans on his rollerblades and people jumping over other things with their bikes.

The guy in the video caught our eye because he had some serious road rash that looked like it was just starting to heal. He realized he had an audience and kept trying to get our attention. One time, he came riding down the lane yelling, "hey, hey!" as he's almost running over people. It was great. After I took this video he unfortunately disappeared into the crowd, so I wasn't able to get anything else of him.

I'm thinking I should spend the summer learning how to do his trick:
