Chuvi Duvi

I am a lover of taco stands. If you're looking for some good ones downtown SLC I would go to 2nd South and State or better yet, 9th South and State in the Sear's parking lot. The Sear's parking lot can be a bit confusing because there is a taco stand on every side, you want to go to the stand on the East side. The stand on the east side is the only stand actually located on State Street. I would say their al pastor (I'm not too sure the spelling on that) is the best!

But....there is a new guy in town. Chuvi Duvi.

Take a look at that sweet ride! I partook of the Duvster a few weeks ago and was happy with what I got. I decided to go back now that the weather is nicer to partake again.

The verdict: if you're getting tacos or burritos, keep to the usual taco stands. If you're looking for one mean cuban sandwich, then you should hit up Chuvi. He parks most days in the Zions Bank parking lot on Main Street and 100 South. AND you cannot beat a taco truck that has its own hot chocolate dispenser out the side of it. He's going to revolutionize taco stands as we know it.

Oh man, I miss taco stands. I ate at them all the time in DC but, alas, Provo is lacking. Next time I'm up in the SLC area I'll check it out- thanks for the recommendation!

Olivia, I bet they have some fantastic taco stands in DC. Rumor has it that mobile food vans like Chuvi's are all the rage in L.A. I would really like to test out the korean taco bus that goes around. :)

Thanks Vanessa!

Seriously, if you're into cuban sandwiches, Chuvi is the man.
