I love a good ghost story. Its even better if its an urban legend. The best of all? Bigfoot. I grew up with the other children of the 80's watching Harry and the Henderson's and thinking, "this dude is alright. He can make the sound of a police siren......what could be wrong with that?" I also had access to an encyclopedia that I think a grandparent gave to me that had that famous picture of a sighting of Bigfoot, he did not look as friendly as Harry. I've heard several great "true" sightings of Bigfoot, in fact one claimed that he likes to camp out on Malan's Peak...but I have never seen his travels through Utah documented. Now I have.
One of the last speakers at Photocamp was a guy named Michael Slade. He is the mind behind "Utah Bigfoot - A Photographic Essay of Utah Bigfoot Habitat". Oh its great. You should check it out.

I think you'll get a good laugh, but still, ya gotta give the guy props for actually checking out all of the spots that people claim to have spotted Bigfoot around here. By far the best is the sighting on Beck Street...what's out there other than Northern Exposure?

So dose this guy really believe that Bigfoot really exist or does he just like to take pictures? ha ha That is awesome!
Oh Bre, I am not sure. There were people laughing when he was discussing it and he was pretty good natured about it, BUT, I think that he takes it seriously enough to travel around Utah to photograph those sites....hopefully one day I too will have a Bigfoot story to tell him.
