Tuesday Tell All!!!

The subject today is my favorite high school class or college course. Well.....while learning about fault scarps in Earthquakes and Volcanoes was fascinating, my favorite class was in high school. What might that be you ask? Well, it was horticulture with Mr. Carlson. It was my senior year of high school and I had some extra hours that I needed to fill up, so my mom suggested that I take horticulture and learn how to make flower arrangements. Luckily, Mindy was in the class with me and surprisingly it was quite full, if I remember correctly.

Amazingly, we got to work with real flowers, although our first assignment was beautiful weed arrangement. After several weeks and a couple of flower arrangements, I guess the budget ran out on flowers and we got to learn the ins and outs of parlay (I have no idea how to spell that.) Mr. Carlson assured us that this was a very important thing to learn and would help us one day.....well I have a news flash for Mr. Carlson. I have never used that ever and I highly doubt that I ever will.
