McKay-Dee Classic

Well, I haven't posted in ages! That is because we moved at the end of August and it has been a struggle to get Internet to our. house. Luckily, it should be installed tomorrow.

We love our new house and the new neighborhhod. I feel like such a grownup getting on the bus everyday. I actually enjoy having extra time read in the morning and afternoon.

This Saturday I got an awesome opportunity thanks to Dawn and FNB to run the McKay-Dee Classic run. It was a lot of fun and I was very proud that I ran it without stopping. I did realize that I needed to step things up a bit next time I run, there were old ladies passing me. I thought that finishing 15th in my age group of 60 was alright. Although, I really could have run faster than 9 minute miles, but I honestly thought I was. Oh well, next year, right?

I have to apologize if there are misspelled words all over the place, I posted this on my phone.
