We had a great weekend! On Thursday night we rode our bikes up to my parents house. We left at 5 thinking that since we would be cycling it would be cooler with a breeze, but all of the car's exhaust on Beck Street in rush hour traffic made the first part of the ride brutal.
We spent the night at my parents house and the next morning woke up early for the good ol' West Point parade. I haven't been able to see it for the past couple of years and it was very refreshing to see the lineup of tractors. Then, for the rest of the afternoon we played on a slip n' splash. It was a lot of fun, although I seem to remember it being much longer when I was little. We debated getting the spider man one but it wasn't that much longer...so we went with the classic look.
Then, last night I went for a ride and found a path that would lead me to Saltair. So, I left my apartment and headed down to the airport. There's a path with a big white gate that cyclists can get into, although there are warning signs that you can't just stop and stare at the planes....it is tempting because they look like they're going to land right on you. Needless to say, I made extremely good time and was in sight of Saltair, I was probably only a mile or two away when I realized that my bike tire was losing air and I didn't have the hand pump with me, so I turned around. BUT I did take a picture to prove that I was that far out there!

I love the picture of you on the slip and slide! I think that we need to purchase one and invite you and Brandon over.
Still can't believe you guys rode your bikes up here!
WOW you guys are amazing long distance riders! Looks like you guys had so much fun.
WOW I commend you on your freaking long bike ride.. I would be dead by the time I reached Woods Cross haha.
Okay Michelle...you are really making the rest of us look bad! I rode 2 miles the other day and was completely out of breath (it was all uphill though!)
