Literary Genius!

My friend Dawn e-mailed me today about the Wasatch Iron Pen Contest. Its for the arts festival in Salt Lake this weekend. I thought about it for about 2 seconds and decided it sounded like fun! This Friday at 5:00 I am to go down to the library and get my "cue" and from there I have 24 hours to write some sort of literary masterpiece! I have to turn it in by 5:00 on Saturday.

I'm not tooting my own horn here or anything....but I used to be a fabulous story writer. I will mention that I have not written a quality story since the 6th grade, but I'm thinking that's just details, plus what's the worst that could happen? I could write a pretty awesome story, or a pretty crappy one...its not like they're going to single me out for the "worst story '08".

Never-the-less, if anyone has any ideas for getting my creative juices flowing, I am more than ready to hear them!
