Eye Checkup

Today I went to the 4 month appointment, I can't believe its already been 4 months since I got my eyes worked on! I was extremely excited to go because Brandon was with me and I couldn't wait to see what my vision was going to be. The doctor had told me at my last visit in April that whatever my eyes were in June would most likely be where they will stay.

I really like my doctor because every time I have been in for a checkup, I always get to have my eyes tested in numerous ways before I even see him. In April my right eye wasn't quite as strong as my left eye and I was nervous that it wasn't going to be 20/20 yet. Don't get me wrong, I see perfectly, but its always nice to hear that you can read all of the little letters while your other eye is covered by a spoon.

So, after having 2 people come in and test my vision, as well as a machine check how well my eyes focus, it is validated that my left eye is 20/15 and my right eye is 20/20. I am able to see with both eyes at 20/15! It is so exciting!! In fact, I feel like I have already forgotten what it was like to wear contacts, I just wish I hadn't waited so long to get it done.

Sort of, I got PRK, which is the same idea, because my corneas were too thin for the flap they cut into your eye with lasik. But yes, it is absolutely fabulous to be able to see unaided!
